Katie's Dressing Up for Jingle Bells

December 5, 2024, Sound Beach, NY- The Sisters of Our Lady Perpetual Help Convent were part of a heartwarming Christmas Show this year, held right under their roof. The no rehearsals required production, a brainchild of Nurse Katie Polk, was a true testament to the community's spirit and unity. The lively and audience-participatory repertoire, featuring the history of the bell and its many uses, including the most popular bell of the season, the Jingle Bell, was a joyous celebration of the festive season. As cast members, staff, volunteers, and Sisters added their unique touch to the show through story-telling, singing, dancing, comedy, and sharing laughter with the audience, creating a sense of belonging and togetherness. It was so much fun!!
