Fire In Our Hearts

We, the Daughters of Wisdom, trace our beginnings and our spirituality back to 18th century France. There, St. Louis de Montfort walked among the poor and abandoned, telling the story of Jesus.

Fire In Our Hearts is a sponsored ministry of the Daughters of Wisdom of the United States Province and is one of the creative approaches engaging both Sisters and Associates in the transmission of their spirituality.

Fire In Our Hearts was conceived for seekers of Wisdom from all spiritual traditions extending an invitation to reflect on Wisdom as experienced in one specific tradition and to enter into dialogue with the wealth of other wisdom traditions. We present weekly reflections on the Wisdom Scriptures with reflective questions aimed at exploring one’s relationship with the living God, with self and with others as revealed in these passages. Members of the Fire in Our Hearts team also offer on-site sessions – most frequently in parishes and retreat centers.

As Daughters of Wisdom and Associates of Wisdom, we are continually amazed at discovering new depths of the spirituality given to us through the life and writing of St. Louis Marie de Montfort and Blessed Marie Louise of Jesus. We are so privileged and excited to open up this new venue for sharing the treasure we have found to be so precious for our living.
