Congratulations to Sr. Rosemarie Greco, DW, who was appointed this week in a vote by the Board of Directors of the Litchfield Land Trust (LLT) as its newest board member. Sr. Rosemarie's appointment expands the growing conservation organization in Litchfield, Connecticut, to ten members.

The mission of the LLT is " to be forward thinking, be responsible, be thoughtful about the future of land and the fragile environments that our land supports." Since 1968, the Litchfield Land Trust  (LLT) has preserved over 3500 acres of Connecticut land that will be kept its natural state in perpetuity.  In 2020, the Daughters of Wisdom placed 54 of its 74 acres at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center in a conservation easement with the LLT.

Sr. Rosemarie has been working with members of the LLT for a decade and said, "I am honored to join this mission-minded environmental organization and represent the Daughters of Wisdom.  The Trust's commitment to land conservation affects the well-being of our natural ecosystem and every person."
