WE GOT A NEW RIDE!

With a Grant and a little help from our friends, we’re on the road again! Thanks to Rosalie Mullane from Mission Advancement for securing the Grant, and all our benefactors for the very generous donations, that helped us to purchase an accessible van for our Sisters at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Convent in Sound Beach. The 2017 Toyota Sienna with 2019 VMI Northstar Conversion was delivered and demonstrated by Matthew Leeb, Director of Sales and Marketing of Patriot Mobility to the Sisters last week. The van allows for up to five passengers and is equipped for two wheelchairs and features an automatic door and ramp that comes out and leans to the side to lower the ramp angle. Thanks to Matthew Leeb and Patriot Mobility (West Babylon, NY)  for taking all our needs and concerns into consideration and putting our Sisters safely on the road.
