How Does Your Garden Grow?

Something new has “cropped up” at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Convent in Sound Beach, NY, a Daughters of Wisdom community. Administrative Manager Patti Stewart shares that the convent has begun growing a vegetable garden. After much thought and planning (because the deer love munching on gardens), a raised garden bed design was chosen. Andres Perez, Maintenance Technician, has been working diligently to build the structure and plant the veggies and herbs. Many thanks to Andres, whose talents and hard work are greatly appreciated by our Sisters and staff. Our cooking staff is eagerly anticipating the “fruits” (or, rather, “veggies”) of his labor.
