Sisters Present Congressman Meeks with NETWORK Certificate of Appreciation

Sisters Ann Gray and Evelyn Eckhardt visited the office of Congressman Gregory W. Meeks of New York’s 5th District to present him with a Certificate of Appreciation from NETWORK for achieving a 100% voting record on ten issues which align with NETWORK relating to Mending the Gap on Wealth and Income and Mending the Gap of Access to Basic Rights. Sisters met with Meeks’ Deputy Chief of Staff, Nathaniel Hezekiah III, and Special Projects Coordinator, Fatima Z. Karim, both of whom were eager to continue collaboration on critical concerns of our day. Sr. Ann Gray serves as the local grassroots connection with NETWORK as a JPIC Coordinator with New York State JPIC and Justice Ministers. NETWORK, a Catholic leader in the global movement for justice and peace, educates, organizes, and lobbies for economic and social transformation.
