Wisdom Spirituality in Action

Wisdom Circles
Wisdom Circles are groups of Daughters of Wisdom and other lay people, both women and men, who gather monthly to explore how Divine Wisdom has been experienced in their lives. The Wisdom Circles of approximately 4-10 people are guided by a particular theme that is prepared ahead of time. E-mail: wisdomcircles@daughtersofwisdom.org

Possibilities for ministry within Wisdom Spreads Her Table include:
Volunteer work at a nursing home
Ministry to the elderly and homebound
Parish work
Assistance with a variety of work at a drop-in center for women
Working side-by-side with assembly workers
Clerical assistance
Tutoring
Hospital volunteer work

Wisdom Spreads Her Table
Wisdom Spreads Her Table is an invitation to women to partner with the Daughters of Wisdom in ministry. Wisdom Spreads Her Table is a live-in program which includes volunteer ministry, as well as an opportunity for reflection on the spirituality of St. Louis Marie de Montfort and Blessed Marie Louise Trichet.

Wisdom House Retreat and
Conference Center

Wisdom House, a retreat and conference center, is a corporate ministry of the Daughters of Wisdom. Wisdom House specializes in service to the not-for-profit sector and in promoting programs in spirituality, education, and the arts. Web site: www.wisdomhouse.org

In-the-Making
In-the-Making, a nonprofit organization located in Waterbury, Connecticut, and supported in part by the Daughters of Wisdom, offers personal economic development to under/unemployed women. As the women improve their economic reality and personal development, they are as much “in the making” as the products they assemble, sort, or collate. In this way, they become a force for change on behalf of all struggling people by reclaiming their lives through the opportunities and services available through In-the-Making. E-mail: inthemaking@daughtersofwisdom.org
